We have a client located in the Norcross, GA area looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to contribute and lead the detailed designs of construction projects across various sectors such as utilities, commercial, industrial, and power plants. responsibilities:
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team on technical design, assisting with planning, feasibility, and providing civil engineering input
- Perform and assist with all aspects of civil/structural design, including layout, grading, drainage, transmission, utilities, and specialized designs for substation and stormwater management
- Interpret geotechnical and structural analysis (STAAD or similar), assist with foundation designs, prepare submittals for multi-state permits, and write/edit technical reports
- Conduct QA/QC reviews, assists with cost estimates, and travel to project sites to ensure successful project completion
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience, including site/land development, project management, and stormwater design, preferably in a consulting firm or with an electric utility background
- Registered Engineer In Training (EIT) REQUIRED with the desire to obtain P.E. license within 1 year
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is required
- Experience with STAAD or similar structural analysis design software preferred
