Project Manager

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Project Manager.

Summary:
The Water Services Department is seeking up to two experienced professionals to manage critical infrastructure projects and programs. These roles support both water and wastewater utilities, including the development and rehabilitation of pipelines (24" to 108" diameter), booster pump stations, steel tanks, concrete reservoirs, pressure reducing valve stations, and water production and ASR wells. Wastewater responsibilities may include sewer main and manhole assessments, as well as force main and lift station rehabilitation and replacement.

Responsibilities:
* Manage Capital Improvement Program (CIP) replacement and rehabilitation projects at various facilities and in the right-of-way
* Lead planning, design, and construction phases of projects
* Develop project scopes and cost estimates; Support long-range planning efforts
* Procure and administer construction contracts
* Conduct technical reviews of design plans and specifications
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, operational staff, and other departments
* Integrate final construction documents into Work and Asset Management systems

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline preferred
* Current Arizona Professional Engineer registration is preferred
* 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred
* 3+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design, plan review, inspection, construction, or project management preferred
* 2 years of experience managing consultants and contractor staff for Capital Improvement - Projects or large-scale private industry projects preferred
* Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices related to municipal water infrastructure
* Experience with construction methods, materials, and project delivery in the public sector
* Experience developing scopes of work, reviewing proposals and payment applications, and overseeing permitting and design/construction documentation

Additional Information:
* This is a one year contract assignment with possibility of extension
* This is a 100% on-site position - work location is downtown Phoenix
* Candidates must be local at the time of submission and available for in-person interviews

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
