Civil Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Civil 3D Software to create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and models for municipal projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to support the development of design plans and construction documents.
  • Ensure that all CAD work complies with local municipality standards and other relevant industry guidelines.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project files, ensuring version control and document management.
  • Assist in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CA standards and procedures within the company.
  • Stay up to date with the latest CAD software updates and technologies to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelors degree in Computer Aided Design or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
  • Experience with MicroStation is a plus
  • Must be able to work in the Milwaukee corporate office 5 days per week.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $35.00/hr.
