Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician-Must be open to all shifts! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, ranging from 12v to 480v and three-phase systems. The position is based in Alliance, OH, and requires availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with overtime mandatory. Responsibilities Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, including circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, and machine controls. Conduct minor mechanical work on conveyors, gears, and bearings. Assist in repairing facility equipment such as conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, and mobile equipment. Participate in special installations and projects. Interpret and understand drawings and schematics. Essential Skills Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Proficiency with 480v and three-phase systems. Experience in machine repair and troubleshooting. Ability to work with circuits, motors, panels, sensors, switches, and photo eyes. Competence in reading and interpreting schematics. High School diploma or GED is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman Card holders will receive top rates without the need for a test. Trade School Certificate for Journeyman Course, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. Work Environment This is a union environment within a heavy industrial and sometimes dirty setting. Expect hot conditions near furnaces and loud areas near tube drop-off zones. The role requires standing, walking, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. The plant operates in a loud environment, and employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, and occasionally to wet or humid conditions, fumes, caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. Shifts include 2nd (11 PM-7 AM with a .28 cent differential), 1st (7 AM-3 PM), and 3rd (3 PM-11 PM with a .20 cent differential) shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Alliance, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
