Survey CAD Technician

A well-established civil engineering and surveying firm is seeking a Surveyor / CAD Technician to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with a licensed PLS on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare lot and grading plans, and assist with construction document preparation
• Perform field survey support, including rodman duties and data collection
• Work with colleagues and clients to meet project deadlines within set budgets
• Operate and process data from UAVs (eBee fixed wing drones) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil or survey designer/draftsman or at least 1 year of land survey rodman experience
• Proficiency with Carlson Civil Suite or MicroStation CAD software

Preferred Qualifications

• Field survey or site construction experience
• Experience with eBee fixed wing drones and post-flight data processing
• FAA drone license
