Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operates loader to move, load earth, rock, gravel and other materials.
• Loading trucks safely, efficiently and uniformly.
• Loading bins, hoppers, asphalt and other equipment.
• Keeps load/bucket counts and completes all appropriate paperwork.
• Works closely with all crew members using hand signals to coordinate the work and ensure safety.
• Keeps equipment clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance to ensure that machine is safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
• Reports to shop when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
• Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
• Follows Supervisor's instructions closely.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
• An unwavering focus on safety.
• MSHA | OSHA
• Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly work extended | overtime hours, outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions at all project locations.
• Travel is required.
