At GMR's Fifty/50 FabShop, we are looking for career minded individuals to build our future with, and we have a lot to offer! As a Fabricator (Level 2) with GMR's Fifty/50 FabShop, you will join a growing and exciting operation where you will be integral to the fabrication/production of large event elements, mobile units, trade shows, museums, and special event properties.

Your skills as a fabricator will be welcomed and embraced by a team that is dedicated to setting the highest quality standards amongst our competition and accommodating the ever-changing desires of our vast clientele. Fabricators at this level should have a broad understanding of the painting process, using many different finishing products and techniques on a variety of substrates, including wooden, metallic, and plastic. Bring with you a willingness to learn new techniques and a desire to drive production efficiencies and quality standards forward!

REQUIRED SKILLS

Skills. You are a versatile fabricator who can calculate the measures of dimensions, inspect materials and structures fabricating process as needed; prepare parts or products for shipping, read and follow production schedules, and create artistic and accurate representations of rendered elements using various materials and fabrication. Doing this while being confident enough to work independently when fit is key to success.

Finishing process. You will execute pre-painting activities, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting. You are also proficient in HVLP set up.

Attention to detail. You can follow and read engineering drawings, blueprints, and diagrams. This is critical when you are working on a variety of projects and need accurate attention to detail/

You are proficient and confident with all shop equipment and safety practices including table saws, routers, laminating, welders, mills, lathe, etc. You are also responsible for ensuring safe storage of leftover materials such as paint in appropriate locations.

Fast-Paced. You can multi-task, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while paying great attention to detail. This is important when we have project work coming from multiple clients at a time and need this to succeed.

The annual range for this role varies between $50,000 to $57,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
