Cloud Infrastructure Architect (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)/OpenShift Infrastructure architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of private cloud environments using industry-leading platforms like RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will assess client environments, define “as-a-service” delivery models, and build infrastructure stacks with a focus on security (SASE/Zero Trust), automation (IaC), and performance. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong knowledge across servers, storage, containers, and cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Private Cloud environments including Compute, Storage, Backup, and Containers.
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm Charts) for reusable deployments.
• Integrate container orchestration platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Conduct application-level assessments to support cloud migration strategies.
• Set up secure, high-availability hybrid environments incorporating zero-trust security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integrations.
• Lead infrastructure transformation solutions including DR planning, server consolidation, and IAM.
• Produce clear technical documentation and present solutions to stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with deep hybrid cloud expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Proven knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform including PaaS, IaaS services.
• Advanced scripting in PowerShell, Azure CLI; strong Git version control experience.
• Exposure to enterprise backup and storage platforms like NetApp, EMC, Pure, IBM.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
