Job Description Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design site grading plans and prepare erosion control documents, including permitting and SWPPP submittals. Conduct stormwater design plans for each component of the project and perform occasional site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design site grading plans.
- Prepare erosion control documents including permitting and SWPPP submittals.
- Conduct stormwater design plans for each component of the project.
- Perform occasional site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with strong working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading plans).
- Familiar with stormwater design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience in civil site design.
- EIT Certification or ability to obtain it within the year.
