General Laborer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to efficiently offload inbound materials from rail cars, connect conveyor systems for unloading raw materials, and transport them to silos for storage. The role involves regularly handling heavy materials, lifting up to 7075 lbs multiple times within short intervals, and working in physically demanding conditions. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety protocols while performing all unloading and transportation tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Safely and efficiently offload inbound materials from rail cars.
+ Connect conveyor systems to containers for unloading raw materials used in concrete production.
+ Transport raw materials to silos for storage until required for manufacturing processes.
+ Check the receipts of the labels when unloading and transporting materials.
+ Regularly handle heavy materials, lifting up to 7075 lbs multiple times within short intervals.
+ Work comfortably in hot and dirty environments.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols while performing tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, concrete, and packing.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in warehouse and preventative maintenance.
+ Ability to perform manual labor and general labor tasks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Equipment operating experience is preferred but not required.
+ Capability to perform heavy lifting.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a cement supplier facility that is very hot and outdated. You will experience continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor conditions. Protective equipment is mandatory. You will be part of a small team of 2-3 people, working together to meet production goals. The dress code includes long pants, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The role requires flexibility with shift hours, including 1st Shift (7am-3pm/4pm) and 3rd Shift (12am-8am), with training on day shift for 45 days. Candidates may be required to work overtime, averaging 10 hours per week, with up to 30 hours during peak season.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
