10 Roofing Crew Members needed for permanent, full-time employment. Job Duties: Work on commercial and residential roofing projects year round to install/remove/replace all forms for large commercial and residential roofing projects year-round, including composite shingles, built up roofing, metal, single ply membranes, shakes, coatings systems and foam roofing materials using various power/hand tools, generators, paint sprayers, foam reactors, and lifting equipment. Inspect roof condition, remove existing roofing materials and underlayment. Perform minor roof deck repairs and replace other projects ancillary to the roofing project, as needed (i.e. roof curbs, penetrations, vents, etc.), build walls, remove and install sheathing, and other lumber related tasks. Clean roof deck and surrounding structure to prepare for roof installation (this may even include removing snow from the roof deck). Install underlayment and attach new roofing materials using proper methods for installation by cutting materials to fit around walls, roof curbs, penetrations, and/or intersecting roof surfaces. Load and unload roofing materials and keep them clean. All duties to be performed utilizing proper fall protection and scaffolding. The employer will provide on-the-job training. The employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Requirements: Must have the ability to climb and descend a 40-foot extension type ladder unassisted; the ability to work at heights in excess of 10 feet; and ability to repeatedly lift and carry roofing materials daily weighing approximately 75 pounds. Ability to work in a variety of physical positions, including stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crawling; extensive use of arms and shoulders, gripping, and in inclement weather conditions. Various Worksites: Employer will transport workers daily from the worksite to project sites in Granite, Lake, Lewis and Clark, Mineral, Missoula, Powell, and Ravalli counties and areas Southwest Montana nonmetropolitan area, and West Montana nonmetropolitan area. Wages/Terms: $25.08/hr., and $37.62/hr. for OT. 40 hours per week. Available benefits include medical, IRA , and PTO .
