Forklift Operator | 1st Shift | $20+HR | START ASAP! Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations during the 1st shift, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently as dictated by the manufacturing system, daily work schedule, or associate requests. You will ensure direct materials are available for the manufacturing and assembly of orders, manage inventory pulls, and load and unload materials onto trucks or designated vehicles. Additionally, you will operate an overhead crane, practice proper rigging and lifting techniques, organize the Receiving Department area, and assist stock pullers as needed. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Move products as dictated by the manufacturing system and work schedules. Ensure availability of direct materials for manufacturing and assembly. Manage inventory pulls and inventory management. Unload and load materials onto trucks or designated vehicles. Effectively operate overhead cranes. Practice proper rigging and lifting techniques. Organize the Receiving Department area and assist stock pullers. Essential Skills Forklift operating experience. Experience with reading and interpreting work orders. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
