Laborer-Traffic

This is a non-benefited, part-time position responsible for a variety of manual duties related to sign making, installation, painting crosswalks and red curbing, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, tape application, driving equipment and vehicles and other duties as assigned. May be required to help with traffic counts. Uses a variety of tools and equipment depending on the specific assignment.Must possess a valid driver's license. Due to equipment and city vehicle operation, applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a good driving record. Must be able to perform heavy manual labor outside during spring, summer and fall months. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. May be required to work some weekends. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation.$14.28 - $21.42 per hour depending upon qualifications. SALARY WILL GENERALLY START AT THE LOWER END OF THE SALARY RANGE.Seasonal and Flexible positions available. Seasonal position will work up to 40 hours per week and last for up to 6 months from date of hire.
