Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking experienced electricians for a commercial project in Shelbyville, TN. Candidates must be skilled in all phases of electrical work-from planning and installation to troubleshooting and repair. This is a physically demanding role requiring hands-on fieldwork and compliance with local codes and safety practices.

Work Scope Includes:

• Plan, diagram, install, and repair electrical systems, including conduit (tubing or pipe), in accordance with local electrical codes

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems using hand and power tools

• Diagnose and locate causes of breakdowns and perform necessary repairs

• Test and inspect electrical systems, plan wire layouts, and pull insulated wire

• Fasten metal boxes to walls and install light fixtures, switches, and outlets

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Must have own hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, work boots)

• Reliable transportation

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
