What does this role look like?
The Contracts Management, Sr. candidate will provide critical support to the LM Space Globally Responsive Space (Ground Segment) Portfolio Contracts Organization, supporting DoD and other Government Customers. Serve as a key business advisor and partner with business development, programs, functional counterparts and Portfolio leadership to drive creative and competitive contracting approaches. Responsible for initiating and implementing contractual strategies ensure all contractual requirements are met during program execution. In addition, the individual will establish and maintain favorable relations and communication with customer representatives to ensure timely contract execution, interpretation and risk analysis of contractual provisions/requirements.
- Execute a full range of Contract Management activities including identification and management of contractual/performance issues, contract strategies, negotiations, and contract close-out
- Participate in establishing and administering projects and assignments and maintaining a consistent business reporting rhythm
- Work all contract types (FFP, FPI, CPAF/IF, OTA, T&M, IDIQ and commercial) and fee arrangements, as well as be versed in both competitive and sole source proposals.

- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US clearance to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug a background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.- Knowledge of and experience with acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR)
- Strong strategic thinker, with the proven ability to collaborate with leaders cross-functionally, and creative contracting experiences in contract management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
- Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
