Maintenance Mechanic 3 | Logan, UT

Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic 3 to join a global leader in packaging, print, and manufacturing solutions in Logan, Utah. In this hands-on industrial role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical production machinery and automated equipment. You'll work on die cutters, conveyor systems, sheet-fed presses, bindery equipment, and moreensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial machinery such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, folders, bindery machines, and conveyors

Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, multi-view drawings, and technical manuals for system analysis

Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments, including lathes, drill presses, and milling machines

Fabricate or reproduce machine parts using welding, machining, or metalworking tools

Perform precision alignments and adjustments on complex mechanical systems

Support preventive maintenance programs and respond to emergency repairs as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or maintenance technician

Skilled in troubleshooting electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies

Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

Knowledge of machine tools, calibration equipment, and fluid flow/pressure measurement

Comfortable using welding equipment and fabrication tools

Strong geometry and shop math skills for calculating pressure, flow, and alignment

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a high-speed production environment

Must pass a drug screen and background check

High school diploma or equivalent required

Flexible for overtime, weekend shifts, and schedule changes

Pay

$25.00-$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

$1.75/hour C Shift differential

$3.00/hour D Shift differential

Schedule

C Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm and Monday, 5:00am-11:00am

D Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00pm-5:00am and Monday, 5:00pm-11:00pm
