**Job Description:**

**Responsibilities:**

**Project and Team Leadership:**

+ Provide direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring effective communication, resource allocation and supervision, and adherence to project timelines and budgets

+ Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment

+ Identify and nurture high-potential talent within the team; mentor and develop the next generation of Engineering leadership at Verdantas

+ Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery

+ Commitment to people and professional development of our teams

**Technical Leadership:**

+ Serve as Lead Senior Engineer and primary point of contact managing strategy, technical and design work, regulatory engagement, and business development

+ Engage as Senior in Charge on land or site plan development, design and permitting, stormwater management design and permitting, erosion & sediment control design (as appropriate based on licensure), primarily for Verdantas Area-level clients in our Real Estate, Government, Energy, and Industrial Markets

+ Direct meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

+ Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices

+ Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements and implement best practices

+ Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery

+ Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team

**Client Engagement** :

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related needs and committing to client satisfaction

+ Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions

+ Present project updates and technical information to clients in a clear and concise manner

**Stakeholder Engagement:**

+ Coordinate with various stakeholders, including federal and state agencies, communities, and environmental organizations, to facilitate project approvals and implementation

+ Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project objectives are met

**Quality Assurance:**

+ Ensure the quality and technical content of all work products, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

**Power Market Growth:**

+ Lead initiatives aimed at expanding our presence in the Power market

+ Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and drive business growth

+ Plan, execute, and oversee pursuits and projects aimed at market expansion in the power sector

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution; higher education preferred

+ 20 or more years of experience in civil engineering and land development

+ P.E. required (Delaware, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey preferred)

+ Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)

+ Offshore wind energy on-land transmission project experience, including experience with USEPA, Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and state agencies (including DNREC)

+ Strong leadership and team management skills

**Salary Range**

The compensation range starts at $125, 000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensures.
