Licensed Civil Engineer

Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a local company that has built close to 15,000 new homes in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land development and civil residential design. We are immediately accepting applications for this role.

• Coordinate efforts of team members including design consultants, utility companies and government agencies to complete subdivision and construction documents for site improvements.
• Involvement in site development layout using computer assisted engineering and design software.
• Estimate site construction costs and establish project budgets.
• Field investigations and observation of projects under construction.
• Assist in dedication and turnover of completed site improvements to various public and private agencies.
• Related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer's license.
• 10 or more years of engineering experience in land development, experience in civil residential design is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexibility in managing multiple tasks as deadlines and priorities change.
