Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a brand new facility in Forney!

This a Direct Hire position offering full benefits from the start.

1st & 2nd Shifts available.

Pay range: $60,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience and level of expertise)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical connectivity to all new equipment.
• Assemble and install all conduits, outlets, panels, and junction boxes, perform all necessary wiring, and direct construction and repair of electronic motors.
• Perform or direct others in performing all tasks of an electrical nature necessary to test, calibrate, repair, rebuild, maintain, modify, or install electrical equipment.
• Perform, guide, or direct, with colleagues and contractors, all predictive, preventive, and responsive maintenance on all plant electrical devices
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Journeyman Licensed Electrician.
• At least 6 years of electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough understanding of electrical equipment function, high and low voltages, electrical theory, power generation, switchgear maintenance, and paralleling procedures.
• Ability to organize new construction projects, including specifying materials, building panels, designing conduit layouts, and terminating all wires.
• Versed in all electrical test equipment and capable of using test equipment to diagnose or troubleshoot all electrical systems and instruments.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Must be able to install rigid conduit and operate lifts.

Responsibilities

The Electrician will be responsible for providing comprehensive electrical support, including new

equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project management. This role

requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety standards, and the

ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Electrician will ensure the efficient

operation of all electrical equipment, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the

manufacturing environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
