- Design electrical power systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants
- Perform load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design
- Generate technical specifications and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC
- Conduct field investigations and support startup and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and budget constraints
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
- 612 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in water/wastewater infrastructure
- PE license (or in progress)
- Proficiency in power system applications: short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, power factor
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE Color Book Series
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self-starting mindset
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD (Revit a plus)
- Experience with municipal water reuse, fire protection, and electrical safety standards
- Exposure to commissioning, field startup, and control systems
- Familiarity with OC San design standards and dynamic block requirements
