Equipment Operator - City of Columbus

The City of Columbus has a current job opening and is accepting applications for the position of full-time Equipment Operator.

Pay Range is $21.34 - $28.81 per hour and offers a competitive benefit package.

This is semiskilled work in the operation of trucks, tractors and other light and moderately heavy automotive equipment. An employee in this class is responsible for the operation of a variety of light and moderately heavy equipment in the construction, maintenance and repair of the city's streets, alleys, bridges, storm sewers, culverts and right-of-ways. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Streets Supervisor, and the employee exercises some independent judgment in the operation of assigned equipment. Must maintain a Commercial driver's license within first 3 months of hire.
