Senior Civil Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the civil design process for complex projects from concept through construction documentation.
  • Prepare detailed civil design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other design professionals to ensure project goals are met.
  • Perform grading, drainage, utility layout, and roadway design.
  • Review and interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and environmental documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Essential Skills
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of7+ years of experience in civil design, preferably in land development or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3Dis required; experience with MicroStation, GIS, or other design tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
