JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for inspection, installation, repairs and replacement of pipes, fittings, valves plumbing fixtures. Maintains the heating, water, natural gas, medical gas and drainage systems of the hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs repairs to domestic, waste and closed loop
Performs preventive maintenance inspections.
Completes required documentation according to departmental policy.
Maintains hospital in a safe and orderly fashion.
Demonstrates flexibility in performance of tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Trade or vocational school graduation with emphasis on plumbing and blueprint reading.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Licenses
[West Virginia, United States] Other
Current driver's license
Minimum Work Experience
One year experience as a plumber or plumbers helper. Working knowledge of all tools and equipment associated with the plumbing industry.
