We are currently seeking a Project Manager I to support our client’s project team. Project Manager I will be responsible for managing—or assisting in the management of—all phases of project planning and execution to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Projects under this role typically valued under $10 million and primarily include pole replacement initiatives within the Southern Indiana service territory.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Form, lead, and manage project teams, including internal and external stakeholders (engineering, construction management, supply chain, legal, EHS, QA/QC, operations, communications, etc.). Resolve team conflicts and coordinate assignments across matrixed team structures.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear communication channels and lead all relevant project meetings. Prepare and present reports to key stakeholders and management, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout project execution.
  • Planning and Execution: Contribute to or lead the development of project scope, cost estimation, scheduling, safety protocols, quality standards, and execution strategies. Ensure projects follow PMCoE standards and deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to scope.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee or assist in all project phases including initiation, planning, design, construction, commissioning, and turnover. Manage documentation and compliance processes, including environmental, safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s Degree and minimum 2 years of related experience OR High School Diploma / GED and minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
