This full-time position directs and oversees HVAC, Controls, and EMCS craftsmen and staff personnel in the preventive maintenance, alteration, and repair of HVAC systems, chillers, and environmental controls systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support a comprehensive worker safety, health, and environmental management program that prevents and reduces injuries, illnesses, and losses, and complies with holding company safety and environmental programs and guidelines.
  • Exercise 24/7/365 management, operational, and administrative control of all HVAC, controls, and EMCS operations resources.
  • Obtain and maintain understanding and working knowledge of the contract to ensure all contract requirements are met and achieved on time or as scheduled.
  • Find cost, schedule, and performance improvements and be able to document these findings.
  • Manage a diverse workforce in a customer-service, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Allocate personnel and assets to support changes in work requirements.
  • Anticipate future trends in personnel and material and services requirements.
  • Use exemplary employee motivation management techniques on a continuing basis to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend briefings, conferences and other government-designated meetings.
  • Manage participation in base emergency, disaster recovery, exercises, and operations requiring CE & O&M support.
  • Assist with Tririga data collection, data input, and data retrieval as required for associated assets.

Qualifications

  • 10 years HVAC experience.
  • 5 years' experience in an Air Force Civil Engineering O&M leadership role.
  • Strong personal leadership, management, and organization skills as well as the ability to integrate and harmonize diversified functions to provide overall efficient and effective contract operations.
  • Experience leading HVAC teams.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and typical computer applications and demonstrated communication, analytic and problem-solving, team building, and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to resolve problems quickly by determining appropriate courses of action and involving the correct personnel or functions is required.
  • Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills.
  • May be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information as required by the contract.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license.
