IAS is seeking an energetic and flexible self-starter to fill a full-time position as a Farm Laborer.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and daily operational tasks across a variety of ranch and farm equipment, irrigation systems, and fencing. The role requires effective communication with family owners and the ability to quickly learn and execute diverse hands-on duties in the field, shop, and seasonal conditions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, machinery, and power tools
  • Fence evaluation and repair
  • Daily communication with family owners
  • Field/Pasture irrigation and piping maintenance
  • Operate and maintain ranch and shop equipment and machinery
  • Winter snow removal
  • Maintain irrigation pivots and pumps
  • General farm labor-related duties
  • General shop maintenance
  • The ability to learn quickly and perform job duties within 60 days of hire

Position Requirements:

To be a strong fit for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Previous farm/ranch/shop experience operating equipment and machinery
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Be able to work out in the weather at all times of the year
  • Be able to follow owner directives, company policies, and procedures
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule with some weekends and evenings
  • Be able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and kneel to repair equipment
  • Be able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day
  • Provide strong problem-solving abilities
  • Be able to work independently
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Local candidates preferred
