Welder Fabricator

WELDER FABRICATOR Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator for a locally owned sheet metal fabrication shop in Chattanooga, TN. This shop specializes in all aspects of metal fabrication to meet customer needs. This is a great full time temporary to hire opportunity. Pay Ra nge $ 23 .00 -$30.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday-Friday 7;00am-3:30pm Welder Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

• Cutting, shaping, and preparing metal pieces for assembly using tools like grinders, saws, and torches.
• Joining metal components using various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Assembling metal components into finished products or structures, following specific designs and dimensions.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products by inspecting welds, dimensions, and overall construction.
• Operating various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performing basic maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools.

Welder Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements

• Read tape measurements to 1/16 th
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and knowledge of different welding codes and standards.
• R ead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience in cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• P erform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions.
• T roubleshoot issues and find solutions during the fabrication process.
• Lift 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
