Our Client is based in Castle Rock, Colorado, is a leading provider of expert witness, consulting, and training services to the property insurance and construction industries. We deliver objective, impartial, and fact-driven insights to law firms, general contractors, and insurance carriers in support of resolving construction and claim-related disputes. In addition to expert reporting, we offer specialized services including thermography surveys, destructive and non-destructive testing, performance testing, and cost of repair analysis. Our team is committed to providing accurate, defensible, and clear information to empower our clients in making informed decisions and achieving successful outcomes. We're expanding and seeking a licensed Forensic Engineer who wants to grow with us-both in technical impact and business leadership.

Role Description

  • This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Forensic Engineer located in Castle Rock, CO.

  • The Forensic Engineer will be responsible for conducting forensic analysis, evaluating structural failures, and preparing detailed damage assessment reports.

  • The role includes performing site inspections, collecting and analyzing data, preparing expert witness reports, and providing testimony as needed.

  • The Forensic Engineer will also collaborate with other experts and stakeholders to ensure a thorough and objective evaluation.

  • This position offers the opportunity to help build and shape a growing engineering practice.

  • This role provides a clear path to W-2 employment after a 6-month 1099 contract period.

Qualifications

  • Forensic Analysis, Forensic Engineering, and Failure Analysis skills

  • Analytical Skills and Structural Engineering expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and on-site

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (required)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida and/or Texas (preferred)

  • Experience in the construction industry (preferred)

  • Experience in expert witness work (preferred)

  • Experience in design (preferred)

  • Experience in CAD (preferred)
