Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine engineering solutions for complex pharmacy automation, medication storage, and workflow layout challenges across the Pharmacy network. Translate pharmacy design requirements into detailed interior CAD drawings with a high level of accuracy and completeness. Create modules and libraries to develop mechanisms for future designs. Coordinate with Design Engineers, internal stakeholders, and external partners (e.g., architects, pharmacy automation vendors, construction teams) to deliver approved design sets. Review and interpret permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans to ensure alignment with design intent. Support quality control through peer reviews, adherence to design standards, and continuous feedback loops. Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits to support safety, productivity, and capacity improvements. Implement new templates, process improvements, and safety protocols into standard design practices. Manage multiple projects and tasks, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Document designs using layouts, modules, SOPs, and change control processes.

Software & Tools: AutoCAD (2018 or later) required Revit a plus Microsoft Office Suite required Bluebeam required Autodesk Inventor a plus Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD within a Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture environment. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
