We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Owners Representative/Project Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-impact capital projects by supporting the planning, design, and construction process from concept through closeout. Youll collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project execution, including planning, design coordination, bidding, construction oversight, and closeout
  • Monitor and maintain project budgets, including tracking commitments, expenditures, and forecasting cost impacts
  • Assist in reviewing and processing change orders, pay applications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents
  • Help manage implementation and refinement of internal processes for document control, schedule tracking, and stakeholder communications
  • Participate in on-site construction observation, contractor coordination, and meeting documentation
  • Organize and maintain project files, logs, reports, and decision records in accordance with team standards
  • Support quality assurance reviews and project risk mitigation efforts
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to project scope, budget, schedule, and performance expectations
  • Limited travel is required to pursue new opportunities and address project-specific requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting design and construction projects in an Owners Representative, general contractor, or construction management role
  • Proven track record assisting in financial oversight, including budget development, pay application review, change order evaluation, and cost tracking
  • Hands-on experience implementing and improving project controls, communication protocols, and reporting processes across multidisciplinary teams
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, design phases, permitting, procurement, and contract administration
  • Proficiency with project management and financial tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
  • Familiarity with capital projects for public sector or mission-critical facilities (e.g., fire stations, police departments, data centers, or municipal buildings)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus

  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Comfortable interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactive, dependable, and team-oriented, with a commitment to quality and accountability

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $80,000- $100,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
