HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled commercial HVAC installer to join our team, working on projects across the Lehigh Valley. The role involves running and bending ductwork and requires collaboration with crews of 2-4 members, with larger projects involving bigger teams. Projects are typically located within an hour's radius of the shop. Candidates must possess at least 5 years of commercial experience, have their own tools, and reliable transportation. Experience with ductwork is essential, while additional skills in controls or pipefitting are highly desirable. Responsibilities Read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC systems. Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems according to design specifications. Run and bend ductwork. Work independently and lead a crew. Fabricate sheet metal and perform welding as needed. Essential Skills HVAC expertise Sheet metal fabrication Commercial HVAC installation Blueprint interpretation Experience in ductwork and duct installation Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in controls or pipefitting is a plus. Welding, power break, and manual break skills are advantageous. No specific certifications needed, but HVAC schooling or equivalent experience is beneficial. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
