Job Description
Structural Engineer | EIT
A growing civil and structural engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of structural projects, including commercial, municipal, and infrastructure developments.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and reviewing structural plans, specifications, and calculations
Support senior engineers with design tasks for commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects
Perform analysis using structural codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary project teams
Participate in field inspections and provide construction support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
EIT certification required, with a goal of pursuing PE licensure
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software
Strong understanding of structural codes, design standards, and construction practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
