Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to fill our Project Manager role. In this position you will have direct involvement in overseeing customers' jobs for commercial aircrafts, national defense applications, rockets, and many more everyday items and ensuring they are completed within the customer time frame. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn some new skills, all within the Latrobe/Youngstown, PA area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire flow of each job
  • Communicating with customers in the event of a delay concerning their job
  • Quotes testing needs based off customer specifications
  • Works with all levels of the organization to ensure timeliness for the customer
  • Views logins and layouts of materials
  • Reports results to customers in a timely manner
  • Answers technical questions customers have
  • Verifies and approves testing data before releasing to the customer

Qualifications and Skills:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering or similar disciplines is preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in project management required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge in technical software
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning tools
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time
