Construction Chief of Sales Job Description Client is looking for a Sales and Estimating person. An Engineering or Landscape Design background is preferred but not required. This person, once trained, will be the Chief Sales Officer and the representative of the company for those activities. Initial working hours are 7:00am to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday. Once trained, more flexible hours are available and can be negotiated based on need and company requirements. A company sales vehicle and phone is provided. Desired experience: 4 yrs in the construction field (applicable experience) Commercial Landscape Construction Erosion Control Residential Landscaping Medium Grading Surveying Concrete 2 years Bidding/Estimating Can Read and Understand Plans and Specs Able to perform plan QTY Take-Off's Able to operate a computer Design experience is desired but not required Able to use a Design software program compatible with AUTOCAD Create simple house landscape designs Work with Engineers and Landscape Architects to resolve design issues Spot potential design issues during the bidding process Requirements: Able to communicate effectively with Customers and Suppliers Able organize and manage work loads Valid Driver's License.
