Our client is a nationalanization who offers design, fabrication andplete field installation services for industries including steel and wood products, pulp and paper, chemical, food processing, and many others. Working with theiranization, you'll be exposed to different types of projects, gain hands-on experience, and have a hand at creating products for some of Oregon's largestpanies and industries.

As a Shop Foreman, you'll have the opportunity to influence and manage a team of up to 35 employees on the production floor. Your goal is to ensure all aspects of manufacturing and production are met in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are up to customer satisfaction. As the Shop Foreman, you'll train, coach, and hold employees accountable topany standards. You'll be managing projects, acquiring materials, managing employees (welders, machinist, maintenance) working on and off site, working alongside engineering to support customer requests and make design modifications.

YOU'LL HAVE:

5-10+ years of direct experience as a Shop Foreman in a steel / metal manufacturing setting

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, time studies, machinery (steel fabrication equipment), and heavy equipment.

Experience with scheduling, coaching, training, and developing a team of 20+ employees

Strong leadership and coaching skills and the ability to uplift employees when providing constructive feedback

Experience coordinating sheet metal, fabrication, welding, painting, and stock management

Leading and directing shop employees, scheduling tasks, and ensuring production deadlines are met

$ 90,000 to $ 100,000 per year depending on direct industry experience and skills

Consistent schedule: Monday - Friday from 6 or 7 am - 4:30 pm - Flexibility is a plus
