Hot Plant Laborer - Pocatello

Join the Suncore Team as a Hot Plant Laborer!

The hot plant laborerperforms variousdutieswithin anasphalt plantto ensure operations run safely and efficiently. Maintains excellent housekeeping around the plantby shoveling, performs repairs as needed toplantequipment and performs preventative maintenance to keep theplantrunning.

Things Youll Do

• Perform plant inspections, diagnose problems, and perform preventative plant maintenance.
• Maintain and service production machinery.
• Replace and adjust machine wear parts.
• Light metal fabricating and other tasks as delegated.
• Maintain tools as required to perform job.
• Maintain safe work environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• Exceptional problem solving, and technical skills.
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience a plus.
• Must be safety conscious and have a good safety record.
• Must be proficient in the use of pneumatic and hand tools.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs would be helpful.
• Forklift experience helpful.
• Good communication skills.
