The Role

Are you a detail-oriented and process-driven professional with a passion for managing the complexities of construction projects? Were looking for a Project Engineer to join our team and help bring projects to life through coordination, compliance, and communication.

In this role, youll oversee the construction and administrative requirements of various bid packages. Youll be the backbone of the projects organizational systemensuring every component is integrated smoothly and on schedule.

What Youll Do:

  • Maintain and enforce policies and procedures for submittals, reviews, approvals, and distributions (e.g., shop drawings, samples, etc.)

  • Organize and manage all project engineering documentation, including subcontract and bid packages, plans, specs, RFIs, changes, and as-built files

  • Expedite and track vendor estimates and proposals; prepare internal pricing and change orders in coordination with the Project Manager

  • Assist in drafting subcontractor change orders and support requisition prep through to payment

  • Coordinate jobsite purchases, monitor rental equipment usage, and manage permit compliance

  • Assemble punch lists, track and distribute RFIs and ASIs, and maintain jobsite safety records

  • Prepare final as-built packages and operations & maintenance manuals

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable using general office equipment (e.g., computer, copier, fax, etc.)

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including superintendents, project managers, and accountants

  • Ability to perform basic math and analysis for estimating and reporting
