Skilled Excavation Laborer

A Local Excavation Company is Seeking Hardworking, Honest, Reliable Individuals, with Some Experience and/or Knowledge of Excavation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
-Punctual and reliable.
-Understanding of construction principles and procedures.
-Previous excavation experience preferred.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform Work as Directed on Excavation/Construction Projects.
-Maintain a Clean and Tidy Worksite.
-Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and directions.
-Ability to understand and use basic construction tools (e.g. able to read a tape measure).
-Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
-Perform manual labor tasks using a variety of hand and mechanical tools.
-Competent to drive both manual and automatic full-size trucks safely and in accordance with state and federal laws.
-Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
-Ability to accurately track and manage time. Must submit a completed time-card daily!
-Maintain and operate excavation equipment as directed by supervisor.
-Assist foreman with all onsite tasks; including pipe fitting and grade checking.
-Other tasks as assigned.

SKILLS:
-Able to perform basic math computations.
-Able to work up to 12 hour shifts in all weather conditions and temperatures.
-Physically able to climb, stoop, bend, and lift heavy loads up to 80 Lbs.
-Able to manage time accurately and efficiently.
-Basic understanding of plans and blueprints.
