ROLE DESCRIPTION The Principal Architect (PLM/EAM/EPPM) shall provide deep subject matter expertise and content around the area of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and/or Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) and/or Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM), that facilitates the implementation and support of on-prem and cloud-based solutions, across the entire SAP product portfolio in order to enhance the clients business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The consultant will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same. The consultant will implement, customize, and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as:

Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go-Live of customer implementation projects

Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews

Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks

Develop detailed plan of process implementation

Define detailed blueprint for development requirements

Lead industry/corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)

Develop and assure quality of process models

Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools

Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)

Analyze and map clients business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients needs.

Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP

50% travel may be required (considering the current situation)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

In addition to a bachelor/masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or other relevant degree, and a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:

A minimum of 8 years of consulting experience

Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the client company

Must have expert-level experience in the SAP EAM and/or SAP PLM and/or EPPM (CPM, PPM, PS, Cloud for Projects) solutions.

Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) solutions expertise is a plus (Asset Intelligence Network - AIN, Asset Performance Management (APM).

Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with demonstrated expertise in SAPs EAM, EPPM and/or PLM solution

Experience with EAM/PLM, EPPM business processes and various related industry experience

Good knowledge of SAP integration to S/4HANA or ECC.

Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (RISE with SAP Methodology, SAP Activate, Sprints, Advanced Deployment, etc.).

Business AI / Artificial Intelligence knowledge is a plus

Knowledge of SAPs Design to Operate (DTO) Strategy, Approach, and applications

Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.

Formal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus

Working knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud-based commerce/business networks is a plus

Fluency in English, any other language an asset

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 - 340900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
