Excavator Operator

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team for a two-year project in Bozeman, Montana.You should expect to work between 6 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday. Hours may vary but be prepared to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Upon meeting in Bozeman, Montana, you will be given transportation to the Big Sky job site.

Operate excavators to perform digging, grading, and other earth-moving tasks.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Load and unload materials using excavators, backhoes, and loaders as needed.
Assist in paving operations and build structures according to project plans.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Operate dump trucks, tankers, graders, and Caterpillar machinery as required.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role in a construction environment.
Proficient in operating various heavy machinery including backhoes, loaders, and graders.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is preferred.
Certification or training in heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
