Forklift Operator**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating double wide forklifts and 2/3/4 stage lifts to load and unload freight trucks and rail cars filled with beverages such as beer, wine, soft drinks, and spirits. You will work across three locations, two on Swan Island and one on Marine Drive, moving palletized loads using primarily sit-down electric forklifts. The position also involves using RF scanning systems with scannable barcodes both on the floor and on placards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate double wide forklifts and 2/3/4 stage lifts for loading and unloading tasks.

+ Move full pallet loads around the warehouse using sit-down electric forklifts.

+ Utilize RF scanning systems for efficient inventory management.

+ Handle material storage and inventory management effectively.

+ Participate in shipping and receiving processes.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in forklift operating, including sit-down forklifts.

+ Experience with RF scanner systems.

+ Material handling skills.

+ Stockroom and packing expertise.

+ Ability to handle shipping and receiving tasks.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a distribution facility operating forklifts.

+ Experience with pallet jacks and reach trucks.

+ Order picking and production skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
