Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
  • Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines
  • Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy
  • Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred
  • OSHA 10 required Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds to load and unload wood and other materials, as well as transport tools and materials to and from the jobsite
