Summary:
Per Diem, Night Shift Schedule
The Lead HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition. This role is also responsible for coordinating and assigning daily work, training, and scheduling of team members to ensure off shift coverage as needed.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred.
- License/Certifications: State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required. Valid Driver's License required.
- Experience: Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required.
