**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Service Mechanic to handle repairs on a variety of construction equipment, both at the shop and on job sites. The role involves performing preventative and fleet maintenance on rough terrain forklifts and telehandlers, as well as service checks and repairs on diesel construction hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, and other components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative and fleet maintenance of rough terrain forklifts and telehandlers.
+ Complete service checks and repairs on diesel construction hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, pin/cylinders, wheel replacement, and oil changes.
+ Occasionally repair trailers and trucks, addressing issues such as brake lights, dolly legs, and air compressors.
+ Utilize personal tools in the shop; specialized forklift repair tools will be provided.
+ Operate within locally aligned residential and commercial building sites.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with diesel engines in construction equipment or trucks.
+ Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
+ Capability to read blueprints and schematics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with fabrication tools such as plasma cutters and drills.
+ Custom truck, trailer, or construction experience.
+ Welding skills are advantageous.
