The E&I Superintendent plays a vital role in this mission by overseeing the execution of electrical and instrumentation activities across medium-scale project sites. Operating directly in the field, this role ensures safe, compliant, and high-quality E&I construction and installation, supporting project performance and long-term asset value. By aligning site operations with Worleys sustainability objectives, the E&I Superintendent contributes to innovation, operational excellence, and the reliable delivery of energy, chemicals, and resources solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical and instrumentation construction activities on-site in alignment with project requirements and Worleys sustainability targets.

  • Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and technical personnel to ensure timely and high-quality installation, commissioning, and testing of E&I systems.

  • Enforce site safety standards, promote zero-incident culture, and ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.

  • Collaborate closely with other discipline leads, field engineers, procurement teams, and project managers to ensure cohesive, cross-functional execution.

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, construction schedules, material specifications, and scope documents to plan daily and weekly work.

  • Monitor progress, resource allocation, and quality control, identifying and resolving issues to maintain project momentum and asset reliability.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and regulatory standards related to electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Provide leadership in resolving field conflicts, responding to change orders, and adapting work plans to reflect site conditions.

  • Participate in punch-list walkdowns, commissioning efforts, and turnover packages to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction.

  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements, tool upgrades, and safety improvements in alignment with project and corporate objectives.
