Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects using alternative and collaborative delivery methods, such as CM/GC, CMAR, Design-Build, or Progressive Design-Build. The ideal candidate will manage projects from preconstruction through execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with owner expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of projects during preconstruction and General Contractor phases, including execution, budgeting, and scheduling.
Collaborate with owners to ensure project vision, scope, and budget are aligned and implemented.
Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, work packages, and equipment resources.
Review contracts and documentation for completeness and address discrepancies.
Oversee change orders, cost forecasts, and revenue reporting.
Serve as primary contact for owners, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety programs and meetings.
Support alternative delivery project pursuits and proposal development.
Qualifications:
7+ years of construction project management experience.
5+ years managing personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience in CM/GC or heavy civil construction preferred.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or similar) preferred.
Ability to interpret technical documents, contracts, and financial reports, and present complex information to stakeholders.
