Agricultural Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As an Agricultural Mechanic, you will complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. During non-production periods, you will overhaul and install plant equipment to be ready for the next scheduled production run. Additionally, you will operate farming equipment when maintenance is not required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain peas and corn harvest equipment and related equipment.
+ Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes.
+ Perform maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed.
+ Ensure an even, constant, and sufficient flow of product of a quality that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season.
+ Foster positive employee relations.
+ Ensure that GMPs (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced.
+ Collaborate with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality.
+ Execute other duties as assigned.
