Performs basic I&E duties under supervision. Provides assistance in installation of pneumatic tubing and electronic installation on equipment in the production area.

Performs basic I&E duties under supervision. Provides assistance in the installation of pneumatic tubing and electronic installation on equipment in the production area.

Essential Duties :

  • Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
  • Perform Minor Electrical repairs and installs alone or as part of a team. Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Utilize on the job training of all shop mechanic personnel.
  • Perform basic installation of pneumatic tubing and basic layout of tubing on skids.
  • Read General Adjustment and P&ID drawings.
  • Assist with fabrication of bracket braces and instrument racks.
  • Assist in required testing of tubing.
  • Assist in running conduit of varying sizes.
  • Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing.
  • Report problems arising during the test cycle on units.
  • Assist in testing of control panels and make connections which ensure the function of the panel yields accurate results.
  • Assist in certifying units, final inspections, and test documents.
  • Assist with mechanical assembly.
  • Bend, fabricate, and install rigid / aluminum EMT, plasti-bond conduit, tubing, and stainless steel 1/4" - 1" diameter.

Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
