Project Engineer
Job Description

This role involves extensive travel with 60-80% of time spent at project deployment sites. While the position is not limited to Nashville-based candidates, all applicants must be able to work from an authorized facility within the United States when not traveling for projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complete project lifecycle from pre-deployment through closure.
  • Coordinate with site stakeholders, suppliers, and 3PL execution teams.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain and track project progress in Asana.
  • Oversee daily installation processes.
  • Lead weekly connects with the Global Ergonomics team.
  • Host kick-off calls and check-ins with site stakeholders.
  • Manage communication across multiple channels including Zoom, Slack, Chime, and email.
  • Coordinate with site operations teams for workspace preparation and scheduling.
  • Maintain compliance with all site and OSHA standards, including PPE and safety procedures.
  • Oversee Avetta documentation and compliance.
  • Oversee Golden Station installation and approval process.
  • Ensure proper decommissioning of old stations.
  • Manage equipment inventory and installation quality.
  • Coordinate IT and peripheral equipment management.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years in a fast-paced, automated industrial logistics, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years in project management, preferably in logistics or warehouse environments.
  • 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience driving process improvements in a supervisory role managing people.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Expert user of Asana and Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must live near a major airport.
  • Engineering background is a plus.
  • EHS knowledge is advantageous.
Work Environment

The role requires 60-80% travel to sites to work with vendors for the installation of new equipment. The position supports Ergonomic Consulting Services Projects and involves leading and directing the work of equipment installation teams. The work environment includes a warehouse setting, requiring flexible scheduling, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Personal protective equipment such as composite/steel toe footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, and hard hats are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
