Seeking an experienced Superintendent to join a leading General Contractor and lead high profile healthcare construction projects in the Charleston area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record overseeing ground-up and/or renovation projects in the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of the unique requirements, regulations, and coordination needed in active medical environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Lead daily site meetings and ensure accurate project documentation.
• Resolve field conflicts quickly and effectively to avoid delays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Healthcare construction experience required (hospital, medical office building, surgical center, or related).
• Strong understanding of healthcare facility regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction scheduling and project management software.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
